David Dickinson explains why he thinks that Blackpool has Britains Best View.

Blackpool is well renound for it's bright lights and showbiz glamour, attracting artist and performers from all over the world. Additional to all of this it is a great place for families to visit and enjoy themselves at the seaside.

Blackpool has been a bit quiet in the last few years but with millions of pounds of new investments in major attractions the town is beginning to come back to life, and this year hopes to attract a record number of visitors.

 Micheal Hasselhoff was at the opening of Nickolodeon land at Blackpool Pleasurebeach. The £10 million pund new area at the resort is looking to bring in millions of new visitors.

Their are rides for all ages and all the kids favourties like Spongebob Sqaurepants and Dora can be found at the land. No longer do you have to get your kids to simply watch the cartoons but they can actually get a great treat and visit Blackpool to meet their favourite cartoon charachters.

Blackpool Hosts a number of conventions and conferences throughout the year, this year the European FISM Championships of Magic was even bigger  and attracting those wishing to see the FISM European Championships.

The art of magic and illusion is an old one and Blackpool has been a popular destination for magicians and illusionist looking to make a place for themself in the industry.
